The beautiful Si Como No Resort in Costa Rica is surrounded by the lush, tropical rainforest and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s one of the best Manuel Antonio hotels for families to stay at.
Si Como No Resort in Costa Rica
Have you ever been to Costa Rica? If you haven’t YOU MUST add this country to your bucket list! I have written about my travels to Costa Rica, why you should take your family, a zip line adventure in San Luis, and some stunning photos of Manuel Antonio, one of the top beach tourist areas.
When you do visit Manuel Antonio, a great place for families to stay is the Si Como No Hotel, Spa and Wildlife Refuge. It is located in the heart of the area, featuring the finest of eco-tourism that Costa Rica has to offer and boasts sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean! This place is like a natural oasis, it is surrounded by greenery and wildlife and very close to the Manuel Antonio National Park, beaches and mangroves. I have been here twice, and this hotel was definitely the best.
Stay at Hotel Si Como No when visiting Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Here are a few photos of the resort. This is the stunning lobby, full of green plants and accents. I absolutely love the blue and green stained glass walls!
Walk out of the hotel lobby onto a ship bow looking deck area, and take in the vast view of the Pacific Ocean.
When you’re all checked in, it’s time to walk through the Si Como No Resort to access your bungalow room. There are natural growing trees and plants, exotic flowers, and plenty of wildlife. This hotel was actually built around all of the plants.
And when you finally get to your bungalow room, you admire! This one sort of looks like a tree house.
Take a look at the inside of the rooms at this Manuel Antonio hotel. This is a king bedroom, with a separate living area, modern bathroom and shower, air conditioning, and amazing, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.
This was the view from our room.
This is the first pool at Hotel Si Como No, excellent for families. There is a lot of fun stuff here, this pool has a few water toys and a toboggan water slide, with a deck that faces the ocean. My kids would have wanted to spend the whole vacation here!
Here is the adults pool at the resort, no kids allowed! It features a swim-up bar, a jacuzzi, plenty of lounge chairs with views of the ocean, and best of all: peace and quiet.
More to love about the Si Como No Resort

- sustainable hospitality practices
We ate at Rico Tico Bar & Grill, the local food was amazing! There is also a Nature Park & Wildlife Refuge across the street, which is a part of the hotel. This is a protected area where guests can get close to the rain forest with a guided tour. You will see plenty of flora, fauna, reptiles, and amphibians in their natural habitat with enhanced exhibits that offer fun trails to explore. Don’t forget to look up – there may be a capuchin monkey or two in the trees!
On our last day in the country, we stayed out at the pool until dark in the warm evening weather. It was such an amazing sight to see the clouds rolling in and the sun setting behind them. Bright orange rays would pierce their way through the clouds then hide again, it was marvelous. The view alone makes this one of the best Manuel Antonio hotels in Costa Rica!
